Sebastian Bächer
Sebastian Bächer, master carpenter and programmer, lives in Cologne. He is CEO of Tischlerei Bächer GmbH, a company with specialist expertise in prototyping and the production of complex shapes using computer-controlled machines. His particular strength is the integration of CAD/CAM and digital production technologies. In recent years, Sebastian has worked with artists such as Tony Cragg, Roland Gätzschmann and Tino Seubert as well as with design agencies such as designatics, BelEpok and TheGreenEyl.
He co-founded the design-machine online configurator, the morphe IT company, the blitzbude GmbH photo service and the dingfabrik e.V. FabLab in Cologne. He lectures and collaborates with institutes such as the Cologne University of Applied Sciences, the Cologne Chamber of Trade and the ETH in Zurich.
